Frequently asked questions.
- Which ethernet categories do you support?
- Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, Cat7, Cat8. Custom lengths and bulk on all. Cat6A and Cat8 are the data-center defaults.
- What's the difference between Cat6A and Cat8?
- Cat6A handles 10G up to 100m. Cat8 handles 25G/40G up to 30m — top-of-rack only. Cat8 costs more; pick by run length.
- Can you do PoE++?
- Yes. All Cat6A and Cat8 assemblies support PoE++ (90W) per IEEE 802.3bt. Shielded variants available for high-current paths.
- Do you offer custom lengths?
- Custom lengths in 3-inch increments. Pre-terminated, pre-labeled, factory-tested with channel certification reports.
- Do you factory-test ethernet assemblies?
- Every assembly tested for insertion loss, NEXT, FEXT, return loss, and impedance per TIA-568. Test reports ship with the order.
